In 2017, the House of Commons unanimously adopted June as Italian Heritage month in Canada. The establishment of Italian Heritage month, provides an opportunity to recognize the many contributions Italian immigrants have made to the growth and development of our country. It has been confirmed that over 35% of Caledon residents are of Italian origin, with the majority living in the Village of Bolton.

To become a Bolton Italian Cultural Centre member, the membership fee is $65 per person (effective Jan 1, 2026) and to play bocce in a team the price is $75 per person for the year. Membership fees are due annually at the start of each year.
